Stories have always been the backbone of my love for art. As a child, I would spend hours reading, listening to stories, and looking through old picture books. I loved it when a great story had accompanying images, as I always felt more engaged having had a peek into the universe being discussed in the narrative. I now often start writing about a piece before drawing it, and then illustrate the narrative I just described.
